Why Choose SOEK®
Inspired by Nature
SOEK® was born from a love of nature, natural textures and beautiful eyewear, bringing together distinctive style, quality and an accessible price.
Coastal colours. Earthy tones. The warmth and individuality of timber. The Australian landscape inspires our colour palette, textures and designs, shaping eyewear with character for everyday life.
From quiet neutrals to expressive colour, our collections bring that inspiration into wearable shapes and distinctive finishes.
Nature sets the tone. You make it your own.
The character of wooden sunglasses
Our wooden sunglasses collection pairs distinctive wooden arms with contemporary frame shapes and a range of colours. The warmth of timber and variations in grain give each pair its own character.
Our sunglasses with wooden arms bring natural textures into everyday eyewear, with individual grain patterns and tones adding to their appeal.
We work with specialist material suppliers, paying attention to finish, comfort and everyday wear. Our wooden arms sit alongside lenses, hinges and other frame components, with material details provided in individual product descriptions.
Exploring our frame materials
Our bio-acetate sunglasses feature frames made using bio-acetate containing plant-derived cellulose sourced from wood pulp and cotton.
Selected styles feature frame material made partly using castor oil derived from castor seeds. This describes an ingredient used in the frame material, rather than the composition of the entire pair of sunglasses.
These materials allow us to explore rich colours, refined finishes and a variety of frame shapes.
Attention to the details
Quality is central to our approach. Through product checks and attention to detail, we focus on the elements that matter in everyday wear—from the finish of a frame to how comfortably it sits.
As SOEK® grows, we continue to review our designs, materials and packaging, with a focus on product quality, presentation and practicality.
We value sustainability, we’re passionate about preserving the planet and are continually working towards a smaller carbon footprint through all aspects of production process.

Giving Back with One Tree Planted
Nature inspires our colours and designs. Through our donations to One Tree Planted, we also support reforestation work beyond our eyewear collection.
One Tree Planted is a non-profit organisation that works with planting partners and local communities around the world. Its projects respond to different restoration needs, from restoring forests affected by wildfires to improving wildlife habitats and supporting agroforestry.
A local approach to forest restoration
Reforestation involves more than putting seedlings in the ground. Depending on the location, projects can include assessing the land, selecting suitable tree species, preparing planting sites and monitoring progress after planting.
Project objectives vary, with work aimed at restoring forest ecosystems, supporting biodiversity and benefiting local communities.
Connecting with the Sustainable Development Goals
One Tree Planted explains how its restoration work can contribute to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, including goals connected to forests, biodiversity and local livelihoods.
